Flipping through the free newspaper on the Melbourne train, i noticed that headline. Its a huge number. I read it... and then i realised one of the friends i met when travelling was headed to Phom Penh in Cambodia for that festival !!
Oh my god! Worried the whole ride home. When u meet people while travelling, u dont know who to contact in case of an emergency. The other mutual travellers friends would be as clueless as i am. Felt so helpless.
I came home and checked my email, hoping my friend has written.
Thankfully, there was an email! =)
