Last Time
Nothing was out of the norm, Kong Kong, my grandfather was his normal self, healthy and the typical Chinese grandparent: He'd always ask me to eat and drink tea
All of a sudden he was weak on Friday night and i woke up on Saturday morning when my mom told me he passed on. That night, i stayed up late to 'accompany my grandpa' by sitting near the coffin, burning 'hell money' till late.
I felt hungry and went to see if there was any food in the fridge. Its weird, we normally cover food with a plate but for some reason the plate fell off, making a bowl of noodles visible to me at one glance
Friday afternoon was like any other, i was online and my grandpa walked up the stairs (yeah, that healthy), he saw me and said that his lunch was too much, so he put aside some and told me to eat it. I looked up and said okay without giving it much thought
Little did i know that was the last time i'd have a doting grandpa. It took me ages to bring myself to microwave the noodles on Saturday night, cried as i ate it slowly

Bunnies
They are sooooo cute!!! I called up my aunt to see if they were allowed to run around or if the rabbits 'escaped'. Its the latter. So i went out to catch them.
The small one was so cute!!! When i went out, he hopped to my feet! Awww
The big one scratched me though... he didnt wanna go back into the house

Fishing Village
Reminds me of Port Klang in Malaysia
Sa, our tuttut driver, told us that we there's a fishing village at the port and proceeded to take us there for a look
Village. Yamaha motorbikes that are common in developing countries like Cambodia and Malaysia, you dont see them in Australia
Bustling strip of shops look pretty on that sunny November day.
Locals go about their everyday life
Arriving at the dock, where they build and repair ships, it was quite a beautiful sight to me
Sa took a picture for us. The ship builders were looking at us. A little uncomfortable but chose to ignore and continue with our camwhoring and photography session
Unusual. I have never been to a place where they make ships and to be there felt cool
Boat for charter. Sa's spoken English is not bad. The Cambodian language is in characters and not in alphabets. He read out "Boat for...." he didnt know how to pronounce 'charter', i completed the sentence for him and told him it means for rent
The old lady was terribly hunching and she walked funny... couldnt help but stare a little. Hmm... i need to take good care of myself
Sue Lin at 23. Happy, vibrant, soaking up the sun, life wasn't perfect then but i was content, i thought i had a future with E...
Wooden piere, locals chatting among themselves
Fishing boat
Bestfriends. Friends for 24 year and i wonder... friends forever?
Miss DSLR NGO
Passed by a school. Hmm, they wear slippers to school. We are to wear white shoes and socks in Msia. In Aust, my cousins wear Nike!
Chit chat as i went to buy bottled water. He waited for us while we packed up and then brought us to the town where we were to board a taxi he arranged for us

Full Driver's Licence
I am the sort of person who tells others about my failures so that everyone else can learn from it
I failed the first time because i did not wait for the flashing lights at the train crossing to go off completely. It doesnt matter if the boomgates are up, it doesn't matter if the train has passed 1 minute ago, u have to wait there like an idiot until ALL lights are off, then u can drive. By driving too early (while the lights are still flashing), it was an automatic fail

Como
She asked me what is there to do in Melbourne city (besides shop, which we DID do quite a fair bit of)
I suggested the Como Historic House and Garden and was surprised that both she and KW were interested
I passed by the signboard by chance and was keen on going
I thought i was gonna have to go alone but hey, its so much more fun with company =)
We picked Sunday, had a nice chit chat session in Kokoblack (and i tripped down the stairs) before heading to Como.
Original fountain. We arrived there just in time for the 2pm house tour.
Thats the back of the house, we aren't allowed to take pictures inside. It was a really small tour group, just the three of us and a couple, so no sneaking photos.
Fully furnished, the house was sold to National Trust for historic conservation. It felt like we went back a century, to those Victorian days of drawing rooms, fireplace with mechanical bells to summon the servants, chaperon rooms and a ballroom complete with a grand piano and a chandelier... It was amazing!
Veggie garden still in use today
So lush n green
Vibrant unique orange flowers in the garden
Directed her to play the bitchy role. Glares at each other
Friends again, on the lawn at the front of Como house.
In the woods, with some wood...
Like my elf boots? Forever New, 2007 collection! Hahah, so old! Dress from Ice in Habour Town, 3 for $10 =) Leggings: Cotton On. Jackets borrowed.

Haircut !
But usually, its hard to wear, looks flat. So one fine day, i wanted to be spontaneous, took a pair of scissors and snipped off 4 inches!
Not bad at all, who knew i had skill in cutting my own hair? Smiling and patting myself on the back for a job well done
After. Use my elbows are benchmarks
Before. Seductive?
After, quirky n fun-lovin'?
Before testing my skills
After finding out that i rock with a pair of scissors! And also after changing my top.
Locks. A year ago, i dyed my hair red on my own
By the way, i passed my fourth paper! =)
Earlier this week, i was worried cuz it was stated that my final paper is unconfirmed. Now that it says enrolled, i'm happy =) One to go!
