eCoe and Visa and accomodation...

The Aussies finally started working again! Hahaa, sent the bankdraft that sucked my father's bank account dry to Aust on 19th December and finally received my e-Confirmation of Enrollment from them on the 4th Jan.

Supposed to be doing the final bit of applying for my Visa now but the damn site is too busy!

I wanna go back to the time where my mommy did everything for me! So damn lazy la.

Received my accomodation acceptance the day after that... 597 Aussie dollars a month man! Shit. Wondering if i should stay off campus. Have to decide quick. Can u help me with the pros and cons?

My flight was issued on the 29th December... RM3120 by SIA. Flying off the same day as E now, but 3 hours earlier (to account for my transit) and we're taking different planes...

600??? WTF, u staying in peninsula right? how come so expensive 1? but since it's on campus, they include meal for you???

generally staying off campus...will be abit more expensive gua, and summore u need to find when you go there. IF i were you, just stay where ever lor, cause anyhow just one year.

Totally agree with Charlotte. Since u r only gonna be there for a short time, making frens shud be a priority. Living out on ur own...well, frankly, if u don't socialize enuff, u r gonna end up hanging out with r ur housemates (and coursemates).

And the activities thing...yeap, so many...great fun and all :D

Have always been a strong supporter of living in hostels/on campus. Heheh...

On second thought i just reply here, too malas to post...

Charlotte, Joey, ya lor... after hunting like mad for accomodation i'm getting a bit discouraged, all the homes in Peninsula are for families and not furnished!!!!

The kitchen in the "on campus" accomodation is soooo tempting! And and... most of the second hand stuff i can found on the Monash online marketplace is in the Clayton campus!

Macam mana i nak bawa sofa home?? Damn cheap somemore... check out this blog http://lynlkc-again.blogspot.com

I say "on campus" cuz the residential area i got offered is actually outside campus... across the street... something like units with 4 rooms per unit kinda thing

And my friend who studied there last year said there is not much stuff organized in Peninsula! =(

Meeting with my "future housemates if i stay off campus" tomoro. Just talk to them and see how la.
