My 23rd Birthday

was a simple one, quite a nice day at work, worked with a SUPER nice manager who called ME boss, and a really nice senior who lent me phone charger, but too bad it was incompatible...

Was damn sad that i forgot my camera for the little Chilli's gathering ZH coaxed me into having. On the 18th March my family sang me the birthday song and snapped some pictures! =)

Twenty-three...

Damn happy to have my VERY own cake!!! Oooh, the roses were ordered from Australia! From my very dear best friend, WS and RC .

I came home from work to find it waiting for me! So shocked, felt so loved! There was a box with Ferrerro Rocher with it =) They really didn't have to!

More presents! Most of them unexpected! =P

My mom brought Swarovski home and showed it to me, i was admiring it and then she said its for u! WHAT, damn shocked and happy

U know i was reading Revenue recognition and there is specific accounting methods for Customer Loytalty Programs, god, how tedious tht must be!

So pretty, i love my mommy!!!

Sent AN an sms order, asked him to book the item from his gf's online shop, XOXO Chic and he decided to get it for me as my earliest bday present of the year! So sweet! =) =) He's like a lil brother to me, and his gf has been nothing but nice to me!

They had to model laptops and phones, looks really hard to do that, and they were all doing similar poses... i mean how creative can you be when u have to model a gadjet?

Dawn studied in BBGS (now known as Seri Bintang Utara), graduated from high school in 2002 (my senior by 1 yr), then she went to MUFY 2003 and then to a dance school before a back injury. In 2005 she started her Bachelor of Business and Commerce (major in Economics and International Business) in Monash University Malaysia and graduated in June 2008.

She worked in sales for New Wave advertising for a few months but due to the nature of her work and her back injury, she decided to quit. Just in time for the MDG auditions! =)

I don't like her cheong sam either... why la they give her not nice clothes to wear!? Is it some kind of test, models have to make gunny sacks look good? I like the 3rd girl's cheong sam

Her laugh never fails to make me laugh wan! Its just contagious. Oh i waved like mad during the fashion show today, when she saw me she gave me her signature smile! Miss those 1st yr uni times

Demotivated Week

Studying ICAA makes me wanna bang my head against the wall, conso is shit hard. They assume we've learnt a lot of things in uni. Though i got a 67% in AFW2491 Company Reporting, i didnt answer the 20% question on conso! HAHAHAHA, so now i am so bloodly fcuking BLUR.

Oh and a short sort of rhyme:

The past week at work has been, in summary, stressful, meaningless and i have been breaking down under the extreme pressure and expectations placed upon me (if u read my msn and Facebook u'd know i felt like giving up)

When the weekend rolled around, it got slightly better tho

Nice weekend

Spent quality time with E Friday night and before breakfast yesterday. I headed to the gym, February's been a bad gym month, only went there three times, went for my usual Bodypump, had to reduce the weights i carried tremendously

Even so i was aching like mad today. Feels like i've been through war, but the pain's good

In the evening yesterday, met up with LC, who's resigned from her THIRD permanent job since graduation, and JC, another uni friend i used to study with in 2nd year, havent seen each other for two years man! He JUST realized i removed my braces! HAHHAHA

Another round of exchanging name cards, god, this is getting to be the norm. Wait till AN and his gf of XOXO Chic start working, then they'll be passing me name cards too. God, i still cannot get used to the fact that most of the people i mix with are entering the workforce

Oh by the way, i have a friend is doing PhD now. God, god... she's 1.5yrs younger than me and she's doing it on full scholarship. Intimidated or not? I am

Didnt study yesterday, nor have i read much today. Today, was the March babies lunch at Sugimoto in Desa Sri Hartamas for the VU-Monash group. Love them la, we met up at 12 something and only stopped chatting at 5 something. Geng anot? =)

Feels so good catching up. Catch up weekend. What adds to this lovely weekend is tomolo is a public holiday! =)

I wont have such luxury next weekend, another damned Quiz and assignment due 23rd and then the 3rd stupid quiz =(
